Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard

Use to be able click on HP Officejet Pro x476dw desktop icon, and it would ask Printer or Scanner..

Now it goes directly to printer..and 'Open Scanner Utility' option is grey out.

 

How do I get that back? As need to shortcut to scanning that give option to scan duplex and s on
