Hello @Vinsvanden

If <HP Support Assistent> was installed or computer registered at HP -> Contact HP Support

Standard procedure would be the following

Please contact POLICE again ! They can investigate and have special rights.

You will need proof of ownership: proof of purchase (invoice), documents such as warranty and emails from HP. On the packaging of the notebook there is a sticker with the unique product data

[

product model

product number (p/n)

serial number (s/n)

maybe was my laptop too old ? So not visible anymore? Bought in 2017

Issue for me because i cant get an online help fromage HP without thé product registered on thé HP site

Police needs a location to investigate further. Can hp help me to get a location and make sure my session/data remain protected?

Hi @Vinsvanden,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you need the information to track your stolen Notebook PC. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

If you had purchased HP LoJack When you purchased your notebook PC and registered with it, then you may find the notebook.

If not you have to contact the Local Law Enforcement Team to assist you in finding the notebook PC.

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

The local enforcement law (police) is already contacted.

It's a circle because they ask me to contact you to first locate the computer before interveining.

So just registrering the device on my personal HP account is not enough to locate it ???

I wanted to register it now. I have all the caracteristics of the notebook and the bill.

I tried but it doesn't work. So I was hoping you could help me register it ?
