I have a HP chromebook with a fault, so I contacted the support team online. I went through all the details and they said they'd send a box out for collection. Then the CSR realised I was in the UK and I was talking to the US department. So gave me 3 numbers to call.
There's no option to contact HP online when you are on the UK page, only here. So I signed up for the community and did some searching for a contact number. The US guy gave me the following numbers to call:
*bleep*
If you call the first number you will be charged a 65p per minute access charge. I think this is disgusting as you're not warned at the start of the call. The other 2 numbers just give some bleeps and then says 'it is not possible to connect your call at the moment please try later'
I eventually found this number *bleep* and managed to get it collected. I've seen posts on here saying go to the warranty page but the only option is to 'ask the community' I feel HP are letting customers down a bit by making it difficult to get repairs arranged.

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue, and in order to fix this issue, your computer needs to be serviced. As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now,
As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest youContact HPin your region regarding the service options for your computer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Can a m9d please delete this thread as my computer has been repaired. They collected it on a Monday amd fixed it by Thursday. So actually quite good service. Even though it's difficult to find a number to contact HP.
