I have just passed one year since purchase of the HP desktop. Bought in January 2009; total failure May 2009; (hard drive ). I lost everything!! Computer shipped to HP for repair. Shipped back to me in July 2009; WAS RETURNED NOT WORKING. HP sent tech rep to do service in my home. Success! I still Had NOTHING, but I was happy it was working.
The above story should not have happened , but it did. The most annoying part thru all the above ; up until my HP support contact to date, has been THE EXTREME ANNOYANCE OF DEALING WITH THE TECH REPS FROM INDIA. THEY REALLY SUCK.....Thats pretty much it.... Most don't know the subject matter, they are reading from Q-cards. You can't tell them anything.....They will not listen......MOST DON"T KNOW THE MATERIAL...... they keep apologizing......I have spent hours of my valuable time trying to understand squeaky condescending , voices with no personality.
The secret........If you get someone you can't understand......Hang up ,hit the redial....and hope for the best.
If we're lucky , H-P will get the message and bring ALL tech support employment home.
