Hi!
Quite a strange and awkward situation - our company wants to buy several HP Z27u G3 monitors, but these monitors have a Z symbol on the back. We are in a country quite close to Russia, so this symbol is considered as a Russian war symbol in these times. I understand very well that HP does not support Russia in any way with such a symbol, since Z products have been around for several years.
We have found an elementary solution - stick stickers with the company logo on these Z symbols. However, the head of the company is categorically against the purchase of such monitors, because he does not want to buy them simply on principle. We have tried several times to convince the boss, but without success.
My colleagues and I have discussed that the boss would be convinced if HP had published a statement that it does not support Russia in any way with its Z products. If removing the Z symbol is not possible, maybe HP can offer stickers with the HP logo?
For example, Samsung Z Flip products are sold without the Z symbol in our country. So I really hope that HP will at least release some kind of statement on this topic.
Thanks!

Hey @Ferums 🙂
Thank you for bringing this concern to HP's attention. In no way was this a political statement by HP as these products have been out for a few years. However, we understand the concerns brought by you and I'm escalating these concerns to our internal teams and management.
Again, thank you for bringing this to our attention. 😉
Kind regards,
MarcusC
