Contacting the store will not provide you any information beyond what the store can confirm, of course.
If you ordered a custom-to-order (CTO) machine, you can still contact the store -- there might be relatively less information available. Why? After the custom order is received (and possibly confirmed by you depending on the cost of the unit), the order is sent from the store to the factory. In my experience, there is almost no way to query the factory directly.
