There's a 24hr time limit in which your posts are able to be edited.

Meaning you only have 24 hours to edit your post or you need to wait 24 hours before you are able to edit your post? Either way seems silly.

It means you have 24 hours once you've posted to edit. The reason it's in place is to prevent abuse.

I don't think it's silly at all.
