OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000i (1S3R6AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi everyone, I am posting my first question and new to HP. I bought a HP Omen 30L in September and have been noticing random restarts where it either goes to a black screen or goes to a blue screen quickly and shuts down and restarts. I am frustrated because I haven't even had it a month and having issues already. I spoke to a lady called Nermine who took control of my screen and updated my bios and done a factory reset essentially. When all was complete I thought to test to see if my computer will restart during use by running a small indie game on Game Pass and instantly went to Blue Screen and restarted. Nermine as promised phoned me back later asking how it all went and explained to her I still got my random restarts. she suggested to re-install windows 11, during this process I asked her would it be okay to run Windows 10 instead as I am finding Windows 11 buggy and thinking whether this is what's causing my issues and just prefer Windows 10 in general. We proceeded to do this I got Windows 10 on my external  HDD but am now waiting on new links to download to put on my HDD such as Setup Memory Optane, which she promised she would send me along with a YouTube link on how to downgrade my computer to Windows 10. She still hasn't sent them to me and when I asked her politely again over email to send them to me  she replied..

Dear Mr Taylor,

You are welcome , happy to help. And no other links will be sent hahhahahah .

So am now left wondering is this a legitimate HP tech support worker? As I am still waiting on the links to help to install Windows 10 on my Omen/ a guide on how to install it.

Hope someone can help.

Kind regards

Ben

This is a side note too, as for scammers in the community:

Be alert for scammers who may be posing as HP support representatives, particularly those who claim to be “HP Helpdesk”.

Only call numbers from people who have a HP badge on their profile page.

If you think you have received a fake HP Support message, please report it to us by clicking on the blue "Report Inappropriate Content" button above the message in the Private Message portion of the Community.

Thank you!

The issue is that I logged into my HP Account, organised someone to call me and then they phoned me 5 minutes after my submission. does the email seem legit to you? the email message sent to me just rings alarm bells.
