On Thursday, I spent around an hour attempting to order a laptop (the Victus Gaming Laptop 16-r1047nr) from HP's online store. After getting in contact with my bank and allowing the order to go through on the fifth time (it was flagged as "suspicious activity" as I don't normally spend that much all at once), I finally got into the processing phase. An email confirming this order was receive at 3:15 PM (Central Standard Time). A little over an hour later, at 4:20 PM, I received a new email stating the order was declined. Even after getting in contact with HP Support, they couldn't tell me anything more even after I gave them the order number and other info that was asked for. Upon further investigation, I saw in the order confirmation email, that the order was processed at 6:11 PM EST (which would've been at 5:11 PM my time, almost another hour after the supposed order decline). Even today, the money still has yet to be returned to my account, still listed as "pending". And even on HP's own site, checking the order and even clicking on it, it still says it's being processed. Honestly, I'm normally rather patient, and this is my first time, personally, ordering something through the HP store itself. But at this point, I either want my money back now, or for the order to actually be fully processed and sent out for shipping (which it was supposed to have been yesterday, going by the confirmation email since I paid for priority).
I should note that I did get in contact with my bank again after all of this, and they said if the money was back in my account by the 19th, to further escalate things, which I personally do not want to do. But at this rate, it's appearing to be my only option.

Update: Got in contact with my bank again and they gave me info to send to HP in order to have the refund expedited. Instead of just doing this, I was instead told to get in contact with Sales Support... which is closed on the weekend. So instead of being helpful, HP has decided to pretty much just make me wait out this whole thing.
Needless to say, HP has lost yet another customer. Once my money is back, I'm not buying an HP product ever again. Especially if I have to go through this whole mess all over again. Looks like it's back to waiting until Wednesday.
