I have what seems like a simple issue. I am having problems with 'Insert video' 'FROM MY VIDEOS' ask shown in the following figure on the right-hand side:
I added the red circle with the line which occurs when I hover over that 'Insert video' button but I am not sure why it occurs (and which doesn't show up in a screen dump). On the right side of the above image, there are two options for inserting videos. I am trying to use the 'FROM MY VIDEOS' option. I have tried different options for the video size and alignment but no matter what I try, I am getting a red circle with a red line when I hover over the 'Insert video' button showing that it is NOT AVAILABLE. Is there a specific location on my computer or on the HP Community server that I need to put a video so that I can use the 'Insert Video' button to search out (on local OMEN laptop or server) a file for uploading? Are there any special settings which I might have disabled on my new OMEN which might be preventing me from having use of this button? Are there special permissions I might have to get before inserting video besides agreeing to the Video Alignment selection box certification? Does the video have to come from my new OMEN computer and moreover does it need to come from one of the apps on this computer?
I have tried many things which could potentially affect this (enabling cookies, normal and in-private browsing modes, disabling my VPN, disabling my SmartFirewall, putting the file in a 'Public' folder on the Windows C: drive, putting it in different Windows Videos folders, trying to use my HP Pavilion dv7-6163us laptop to insert the video, etc.) and nothing has worked as of yet.
