About to hit my third hour on the phone with HP

I purchased the product directly from the HP Store.

The (flimsy) paper tray cover broke on the 1st day even before turning the printer on. Contrary to HP's explanation it is operationally necessary as it keeps dust off of the paper stack and out of the printer.

I've offered to even buy the part, but it is not available for purchase, either separately or as part of a paper tray assembly.

It is considered not essential for the operation of the printer, so even if I was to receive a refurb replacement printer the paper tray is not included. The first number offered that, but does not do any good if there is no tray assembly included with the replacement.

I started off with tech support, then was transferred to the parts department; then given another number (not transferred). That 3rd department turned out to be Sales and they could not help. Then was given the Resolution Team number. I am now in the 55th minute of hold. There has been no offer of call back.

Having no replacement parts is unforgivable.

I am hoping the resolution team will see this and reach out to me via email or text as I need to move on with my day! Thank You.
