On the softwear & drivers page where it says let HP find my PC  or  you put in the model, if you put in the model  number it takes you to another page for softwear and driver results,  it has select operating system -Windows and select verison,

its got Windows 7 and Vista but no Windows 8 or 10 yet. I was just wondering if Windows 10 uses the same operating system drivers as Windows 7 and Vista ?. Lol....Time for an update it HP,  or can people just click either one and get the same drivers for Windows 10?. I dont mind helping out here but I dont want to have anybodys computer to crash because they or I down loaded the wrong drivers.

I was just wondering thats all.

Hey @1964robert

Good question. If there is not an Operating system listed in the drop down "normally" that means that hp has not tested that device on the OS and no drivers are available from the hp site for it. We didn't test or qualify drivers for really old products on Windows 10.

It doesn't mean that the original equipment manufacturer, like for a video card (NVidia or AMD) doesn't have a driver for that component for that OS on their web site.

Hope that helps.
