- Unreasonable shipping delays on customized laptop

I ordered a custom laptop on May 29, the original estimated shipping date was July 9 which seemed a little long but since I was buying the computer for college it wasn't a big deal. A few days before my computer was supposed to arrive I got an email saying there would be a delay and the new shipping date was August 9. This was extremely close to when I am going to be moving to college, but I thought it would be fine. Then today I decided to check my order because my laptop was supposed to be shipped already, but I found that the shipping date had been revised yet again and now it won't ship until September 7. I have not received any emails or texts from HP about this delay yet either which is a little concerning. So now the computer I bought for college won't arrive until three weeks after I've already started college and I am not sure what I am supposed to do. The biggest problem I have is the lack of communication from HP, I just want more updates, at least then I would know what's going on. If I would have known it would take over 3 and a half months to get this computer I maybe would have ordered from some where else.
