I want my email address unsubscribed from your mailing lists. I've requested this four separate times via the "unsubscribe" link in your messages, but continue to receive them weeks after my first attempt. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?  I don't understand why your UNSUBSCRIBE link is ineffective.  This forum's database indicates that unsubscribing is an ongoing problem for those receiving promotional messages from HP.

Your promotional emails do not interest me, arrive almost daily, and are PISSING ME OFF. I also believe you are violating US Federal law by not removing me from your mailing list upon my request. Please take action now. You will find my email address multiple times in your "Unsubscribe" records.  It is also the username attached to this online account.

OK.

The simple answer is to Spam everything from HP that you don't want until it stops.

If your email spam software is smart enough, add a couple of additional filters to make sure everything is caught.

Filters are fast and immediate.

If you want your HP Account Removed:

Removal must be done by the moderator team -

If you have already asked to have your account removed, the team has your request in the queue.

Meanwhile, if you wish it, I can ban your Community account - that will take care of several immediate problems.

If we do that, you cannot continue to post, of course.

Banning is only done as a consequence of threats, misuse of the Community (breaking the rules).

That said, we provide the service if you wish to be done "now".

It does not remove the account - it does disable the account.

You will still have to Spam any unwanted emails, including this one.

Eeek!  Can't stand it!  Need to send a message!

As the the "unsubscribe" - we have no way to influence the operation.  We are a user forum.

Personally, I rarely use unsubscribe - I spam things I dislike and let my email take care of it.

If the problem is severe enough or the spam is particularly vile, I block the domain sending the dirt.

That said,

You may send your comments here:

Be careful of issuing threats - a polite and careful description of your issue is enough.

Do not expect a personal reply - the process is meant to allow you to send important information for the team's review.

Thank you for participating in the HP Community.

The Community is a separate wing of the HP website - We are not an HP business group.

Our Community is comprised of volunteers - people who own and use HP devices.
