Where can I download the HP Secure Erase software?

Hi,

         I tried to download the HP Secure Erase software from this location ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/hprse/hp_rse_setup.exe however, the ftp site doesn't appear to be working.

            Any thoughts on where I can download the HP Secure Erase software?  I'd like to use it with Ivanti's Endpoint Manager.

The short answer:

Use Internet Explorer to download the installation package.

It might be possible to Train your browser to use IE for this type of download.

Marginally longer answer:

If the refusal is typical of its kind, the cause of the problem might be in your browser security.

Some browsers got excited about ftp earlier this year and slammed the door shut on ftp site downloading.

IE might disappear and right this minute there might - OR might not - be another obvious solution.
