Hi @dhanapal56,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand and I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you're experiencing with your HP Smart Tank 585 All-in-One Printer's scanner on Windows 11, and the lack of response from ARM Infoserve India Pvt. Ltd. Let's address the scanner issue first with some troubleshooting steps:
Restart the Printer and Computer:
- Turn off both your printer and computer.
- Disconnect the power cord from the printer and unplug it from the wall outlet.
- Wait for about 2-3 minutes.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer and plug it directly into a wall outlet (avoid using surge protectors or extension cords).
- Turn on the printer and your computer.
Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:
- Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for the HP Smart Tank 585 compatible with Windows 11.
- Uninstall the current printer drivers from your computer.
- Install the newly downloaded drivers and follow the on-screen instructions.
Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor Tool:
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool, which can automatically detect and resolve scanning issues.
Check Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) Service:
- Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- In the Services window, locate "Windows Image Acquisition (WIA)".
- Ensure its status is set to "Running". If not, right-click and select "Start".
Test Scanning with Windows Fax and Scan:
- Press the Windows key and type "Windows Fax and Scan".
- Open the application and try scanning to determine if the issue is with the HP Smart app or the scanner itself.
