Hi everyone,
I am having HP Pavilion g6 1200tx
Specifications :
OS: Win7 Home Basic 64-bit
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2330M CPU @ 2.20GHz
System memory: 4GB SODIMM A-DATA Technology 1333MHz
Graphic Devices : Radeon (TM) HD 6470M , Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
I am now encountering problems with my pc. Its screen remains black when I switch it on.
I have observed following three cases related to the problem:
- When I press power button screen is black but system is booted. This can be justified by the startup music which is played and can be heard. At this point too nothing can be seen on the screen and I have to shut it down by pressing Alt+F4.
- When I press power button screen is black and system is booted. No output is there on the screen until the windows login screen appears. i.e. directly windows login screen appears after some time. After that my pc works fine, with no problem until I shut it down or restart.
- When I press power button screen is black and nothing happens. I wait for few minutes, nothing happens, then I have to forcefully switch it off by holding the power button. Next time when I start a prompt occurs (if system is started properly) saying windows was not shut down properly and I start windows normally. If system is not started properly then this problem occurs again.
*This I have tried:-
1. I open the lid a little bit, about an angle of 30® and press power button , my pc starts normally most of the time.
2. If nothing is on the screen and I hear startup music then I close the lid so that my pc goes into sleep mode and then open it again. This worked fewer times only.
The problem first occurred 9 months ago. I reported to HP customer care and they replaced my display considering it as a fault of my display. After that my pc was working fine, now from last 1 month or so I am facing this problem again.
Plz help !!!!!
Thank you for your time.. !!
