Product name:  HP Envy 17 Notebook PC

Product number: XE526EA#ABU

OS: Windows 7 64-bit

After 6 months of having this expensive lump I am fed up. Every day for 6 months I get the message at least 5 times a day " driver display amd has stopped responding and has successfully recovered".

I am pretty sure the issue is to do with over heating BUT i have 2!!! notebook coolers witch the laptop sits on and an external fan. I get this message so often because I do like to play fps games modern warfare 2 and 3. They are not high demanding graphic games and my game just crashes at least 5 items a day usually more.

The annoying and sad thing is I saved up for 2 years to get this and to be honest my old laptop was probably better and I paid £1200 for this crap.

Firstly can anyone at all out there help me? secondly nobody should ever ever buy this laptop and thirdly why is the hp support so useless? they said they would contact me back 3 weeks ago , nothing.

I have to convey to anger because its just a joke for the amount it costs.

Sorry for the rant and thanks :smileyhappy:

Ben

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for Hewlett-Packard.
