Product Name: a6755y
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista (64-bit)

I've already talked with my ISP's tech support to no avail.

I recently set my desktop computer up again after it had been in storage for several months. Before I put it away, I was using both wireless internet and local wired connections regularly and without issue, and now I can't access either. I have a strong connection to the modem/router device so I thought the issue might be in how it was configuring or interpreting my computer's connection, but nothing I could discover indicated that was the case, and my ISP's customer support troubleshooter didn't find anything amiss. I was further confused today when I discovered that it also fails to connect to another computer via a direct wired link, even though I had in the past connected them and transferred large files regularly. I would like to assume that these issues are related, to make the solution more straightforward; but as one involves a discrete network adapter card, and the other connects directly to the motherboard, I don't think it's likely.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
