Purchased printer in Feb. 2011. Ran fine until it stopped printing in black ink in April 2015. Researched solutions on Internet. Tried home solutions with no success. Purchased new "Genuine HP" printhead on Amazon in April for $80. Problem solved. Printhead failed again yesterday after 4 months of light use. Ordered another printhead yesterday from Amazon for another $80 overnight. (Didn't want to shop for a new printer.)  Just installed new printhead. It doesn't work. Ink cartridges are full and fine.

HP site says printer is no longer supported.  (I paid $120 for it at Staples.)  Is there a fix or is it time to cut my losses and buy a new printer?  (Just not HP.)
