Im a business owner, self employed. About 1 year ago I decided to invest and upgrade our devices. I took my time and compared products etc. I had to make a tough choice between spending the money on the Apple products or going with the HP. Because of the cost I went wit hthe HP Pavillions. My mistake. Whenw we upgraded to windows 8.1 all of the touch screens went dead.

I am in my 40's, I  am not a tech person. So I realized the other day that I have spent 20 hours trying to readup on this problem and fix it with no success. Now the price quotes to get the thing fixed are going to cost me as much as if I had just gone iwth apple in the beginning. Not to mention how much time and frustration Ive had because I use to use the touch screen in my work getting customer signatures etc.

As my 2016 resolution I am goign to invest the money and switch companies. I will never again try an HP product. Not only does their equipment not work, its not user friendly to keep up to date and they give you no support. Oh sure they blame Microsoft and Microsoft blames them... in the end I wont use either of them. Using HP was a waste of my time and money and I am getting rid of the frustration of it all. It is worth the extra money to buy a better product that works consistently. Whats sad is that when I called the company trying to get help, I got pushed back to these "boards" over and over. and then  I was told that "its easy to use, you just have to try". In my business when the customer has a frustraiton with what they bought, I make sure they get hand walked through it. I dont thell them its their problem and they need to try harder.
