Have spoken to now three different techs.  Each time they want to control my computer and do the same ineffective routine leaving all my settings for ii and hardware reset to default values.  None of which works.  Case number 1214032621.  All I want is for them to send me a new webcam that works.  They are willing apparently to spend literally over 8 hours now repeating the same nonsense and teh web camera still freezes no matter what.  Its been tried on an XP-Pro 32 bit system and a W7-Pro, 64-bit system with the same result.  Camera comes on and as soon as you ask it to do anything it freezes and can only be recovered by pulling the plug and then rebooting whatever computer it was connected to.  Makes video conferencing a little tough.  DO NOT BUY THIS, OR BASED ON THIS EXPERIENCE, ANY PRODUCT FROM HP.
