How to deal with HP Customer Service

I have been having a horrible time with HP service.  I think it's the worst I have ever dealt with.  I have a notebook pc that had to be sent back two times and they failed to fix both times (the first time was within warranty and the issue is the same).  There was a bit of confusion after the second time it didn't work and it took me over 60 days to get back with them.  They refused to let me send back because it took me more than 60 days to let them know the issue still wasn't fixed.  I asked for it to be escalated to a case manager and I have been told on 3 occasions that I will receive a call back and never have.  Since the computer broke within the warranty period and they have failed to fix twice...I have asked them for a letter refusing to fix and they don't respond.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to get through

Thanks
