Hi,

I have a Compaq Presario CQ62 and I bought it from Stapples in about July of 2010 and I got a extended warranty. A couple months later the fan started to heat and make this horrible grinding sound so I took it to stapples and I had to sit on the phone for 3 hours to have to call them back again, I called them back again later that night and they had HORRIBLE support they said: "Download a driver update" for a busted FAN? and then they didn't even help. Now the computer gets so hot if I touch it, my hand is about on fire. It gets so hot it will melt a ice cube in about 2 minutes ( I had a ice cube in a bag cause I hurt my thumb and I set the bag next to my lap top fan, about a foot away). Also, the computer has made me erase windows (Windows wouldn't boot and etc etc so I had to order the reinstall disks), so I lost all my files 4 times. I can't get any support (even when I was still in my warranty) now the audio is screwed it won't play sometimes and it says all my music is corrupted so I have to restart my computer so that it will work right. I have had horrible problems with this computer, and I have had 3 Compaq lap tops and NON of them have EVER been this bad. I'm really sick and I wish HP would actually help and not just tell me to download random things? Is their something I can do?
