CS540 plantronics not charging , base will not charge

I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties you're experiencing with your CS540 headset. I completely understand how important it is for your equipment to function properly. Please allow me to guide you through a few troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue.
 

1. Try a Different Charging Cable and Power Adapter

  • If possible, test charging the headset using an alternate cable and power adapter to rule out any issues with the original ones.

2. Ensure the Base is Properly Connected

  • Make sure that the headset is correctly seated on the base. The base should display a charging indicator when the headset is properly placed.
  • If needed, gently lift and reposition the headset on the base to see if that resolves the issue.

3. Test with a Different Base (if available)

  • To help further isolate the issue, if you have access to another base for the CS540, try using it to determine whether the problem lies with the headset or the base.

If the issue still persists, I would request that you contact HP Support to get the headset replaced if it is under warranty, and our support engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:
