I have HP Poly Savi 8410 Office to run some tests with the Call Control SDK. After reviewing the SDK documentation, I have a few questions:

How can I obtain the serial number of the device that is required to connect to headset?
Is there any possibility to retrieve the battery level of the headset?
Is there a way to determine whether the headset is docked or undocked?

Hello @MarkNX, Welcome to the HP Poly Support Community.

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the Poly Savi 8410.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. We hope our assistance has been helpful!

1. The serial number can be found on the base unit, on the headset and on the Poly Studio application when the headset it connected to the PC.

2. The battery levels can be known through the voice prompts after switching on the headset, observing the base display home screen, checking the Poly Studio Desktop Application when the headset is connected to PC and viewing the headsets LEDs while charging.

3. To know if the Poly Savi 8410 headset is docked or undocked, you can check the charging LEDs on the base station, the headset's own LED indicator, or the audio connectivity behavior.

Take care and have an amazing day!

An Call Control SDK(Software Development Kit) is provided by HP Poly to enable third-party software to integrate with and communicate with HP Poly headsets.

The required serial number is not the same as the one printed on the box or docking station, which is used for warranty purposes.

I would like to ask whether battery level and docking status are available through this SDK or any other SDK.

Thank you so much for your response @MarkNX

We request that you please contact our technical team at Poly Support | HP® Support so that they can assist you with the correction of the serial number for warranty purpose so that you can claim the warranty of the headset if required.

You can check the battery status and the docking status information as provided above.
