WE currently have plantronics C054 headsets and wondering if there is a compatible headset splitter setup that would allow for training where a second person can listen in on call

Hi @jkuder70, Welcome to the Poly HP Support Community.

I completely understand your need to connect two headsets so that a second person can listen in on a call at the same time—this is a common requirement, especially for training scenarios.

The Y-cable solution you're referring to is specifically compatible with the Poly EncorePro headset series, which uses QD (Quick Disconnect) connectors. One such option is the Poly Y-Training Cable, part number 27019-03. You can search online for this part number directly to view and purchase the cable.

However, for your current headset model, the Poly C054/CS540, the setup works a bit differently. These headsets are not compatible with Y-cables, but the base unit supports conferencing. You can connect up to three additional headsets to a single base for conferencing purposes.

For detailed steps on how to set up headset conferencing, please refer to the official user guide

I hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance. If you find the information provided useful or it solves your problems, help other users find the solution more easily by giving Kudos/Thumbs Up and marking my post as an Accepted Solution.
