Savi 8245 UC

The Poly Lens desktop application is showing my headset device as a Savi 8210 series, when I actually own a Savi 8245 UC. The 8210 series is different than the 8245 series, and as a result I think it is causing problems with the mute function on the headset getting out of sync with webex. I will hear the voice in the headset say, "Mute off" but webex still shows me as muted. If I press the mute button a couple times it will get in sync with webex, but I should not have to do this.

 

Troubleshooting steps I have taken:

  • Warranty replacement on device (replacement was mainly for other issues but this issue was also present with the original headset)
  • Updated headset software via poly lens application
  • Updated Poly Lens application software
  • Factory reset the headset & re-paired the headset to the DECT adapter
  • Uninstalled/reinstalled poly lens application & re-updated

What do I have to do to get the application to recognize the correct device?

I'm not sure what to do at this point.
