I have a Plantronics CS540 Headset with a base that will not sync or charge.  I purchased it this year and I am trying to register it but the serial number on the bottom of the C054 base is not recognized by HP's website as a valid serial number.  What can I do?

Hi @mikeh63701, Welcome to Poly HP Support Community.  

 

If you cannot locate the headset serial number on the HP website, please follow the steps below and contact the HP support team using the provided link.

Open the support link and select 'Contact Us.' Then select the option "If you are unable to enter your serial number, click on the option to select your product type.". Choose 'Headset' and then 'Dect Wireless Headset' for the product category. Scroll down and select 'CS540' for the product name. After clicking 'Submit,' you will be directed to the support contact page.

Unfortunately click those options takes you to 2 Support options Phone Support or Communities.  When I click on phone support it wants to know the serial number of the headset (which is why I am here).  If someone has a telephone number for HP Headset support that would be great, because I am stuck in a loop.

Kindly click on the link below and follow the steps provided, which will help you reach the HP support team.

First, select the option contact US

 




Then, as you are unable to find the serial number, select the option click here to select your product type

 

 

Select the product information. In your case, product type is headset, product category is DECT WIRELESS HEADSET, select CS540, and product name is CS540. Click on submit.



Click on submit.


 

Scroll to the bottom of the page and select "change county, region and language." Select the required country and submit to get the support details.
