This is an integration issue with MS Teams. After Toggling the "Try the new Teams" switch, upon initiating or answering a conference or call, the headset disconnects and the call drops. This happens about 3 times at the beginning of each call and after roughly 3 attempts, the call is established and there are no issues for the remainder of the call. The exact sequence of events to get it working is unclear.

 

After several days of frustration, I turn off the "Try the new Teams" toggle and the connection issue disappears.

All MS SW is up to date

 

Headset: Polycom SAVI 8200 Office USB DECT headset. It was not running the latest FW version when the problem started but was updated to the latest version to see if it resolved the problem but it did not.
I also have an older Savi W720 and it operates as expected and does not experience this issue.
