I attempted to update the firmware on my Savi 8245. The process started off okay, but after almost an hour I didn't see any indication the Poly Lens app was doing anything. I notices the headset was no longer showing up in my list of available sound devices, AND all the buttons on the base and headset were non-responsive. Of course, I power cycled the device, but as I suspected, the base is not working correctly. After unplugging the base from the power supply, removing the battery from the headset, letting everything sit powerless for extended periods of time (multiple times), the base still is not showing connected to my MacBook.
Bluetooth will pair with my iPhone, but the no sound will come out of the headset. When I press the mobile phone button on the base, the LED that's normally green, lights up yellow and the device will not respond to any more button presses until power cycled.
This headset had been working flawlessly with this same laptop for months. Everything was totally fine until, like an idiot, I thought fixing something that wasn't broken would be a good idea. Now I have corrupted firmware, and a non-functional headset. Please tell me how I can perform a reset or firmware recovery.
