HP Designjet T210

I work in construction and print our drawings on 24 x 36 inch sheets of paper.  We use the setting of Arch C for the paper size which is set for the 24x36 inch paper.  when i go to the print settings and select this option along with landscape, the print preview shows that the drawing will be printed on the sheet the normal way it should be, with the long side on the 36 inch side, and the short side on the 24 inch side.  When the document prints, the machine rotates the drawing 90 degrees and the paper comes out as a square, meaning that there is a space of blank paper above the top of the drawing of wasted paper.  it is estimated that for every three sheets of printed paper, there is one wasted sheet.  This is extremely aggravating especially when there is no apparent reason for this to be happening when the preview shows the correct orientation and the printer decides to do the opposite.
