Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

We just replaced our 15-year old DesignJet 500 with a DesignJet XL 3600 multifunction plotter/scanner.  I am trying to print a 72-wide plot from a 36-inch by 500 yard paper roll.  When I create a custom paper size and enter a width of 72 inches, it auto-defaults to 36 inches.  How can create a paper size wider than 36 inches?  My goal is create a 36X72 print.

I am 99% sure that is a print driver issue. Are you running the latest driver from hp.com?

Have you tried using length as 72 inches and playing with landscape/portrait settings?  Also what programs are you using to print. Are you printing direct to the plotter or using one of the HP  such as HP Click or Print Preview?
