Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP 755CM plotter that has worked great until the last week.   Now, the console is blank.   When I turn on the plotter the lights flash once and that is it.   I ordered a new power supply and installed.   Moved to another receptacle on different circuit, changed power cords, verified 120 volt power  (I am a licensed electrician) .   Same issue.  I have Windows 10 but the plotter has worked great until now.   Does anyone have a recommendation on more troubleshooting?    If not, guess I will sale for parts.

Thanks

Tom

You may need to replace the panel.  They been known to grow dim and then go out altogether.

Does the printer still respond to button inputs?

Display panels can be found on Ebay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/192363891466?hash=item2cc9c80b0a:g:5UsAAOSw-CFgSuWS) brand new from China.

I think I have one laying around here somewhere if you get desperate.

I don't work for HP....I just repair their printers.

Thank you for your fast response.   The printer will not function even though the console is unlit.  The console will flash for only a moment.    Still, I thank you for your time.

The behavior sounds like you may have a bad main board, considering a different power supply did not resolve the issue. Do you hear any other activity when you power on such as fans or carriage movement?

Thank you for your suggestion.

No sounds, no fan or carriage movement.

I will look for a main board on the web.     Trying to get my thoughts together about continuing to invest in the 755 or, purchase a T210 for $700.
