HP DesignJet T1300 44-in PostScript Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello all,

I have an issue with our HP DesignJet T1300.

I've added 10 custom paper sizes in the properties of the printer. If I try to add more than that I get the following error message:

Errormessage.png

I know that this not a bug and this limit is nothing new to me. The problem is, that since last week every program I use to access the properties with, crashes, right after I confirm this message.

The paper size is still added and I can use it aswell, after restarting the crashed program. So function wise - everything is working.

If I delete enough paper sizes so I'm under the mark of 10 again, the error message doesn't appear and the crashes stop aswell. Unfortunately my colleagues and I are dependent on creating more than 10 of these paper sizes and until last week we could just confirm the message and print anyway. Since many of my colleagues are printing right out of a CAD-program, these crashes potentially mean that we lose data/progress.

The crashes happen with every program, every user and even a different DesignJet T1300 in another plant.

Drivers and firmware of the printer are up to date.

Windows version: 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1466)

After the crash, there's an application error in the event log which states that the module hpiuiE59.dll crashed. But I couldn't find anything usefull on that front.

In order to post a screenshot of the error message on here, I changed my system language from german to english and - funny enough - the crashes do not happen. Since this is unfortunately not a solution for my colleagues, I'd still appreciate if you have any ideas.

Thank you!

Hi @putty123

Go to the control panel then under devices and printers select the printer, at the top menu click Print Server Properties and then under the Forms tab you can create and delete paper sizes that you will be able to use in the T1300 driver as well.
