HP DesignJet Z5200 44-in Photo Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Thanks in Advance -- I have a z5200,  I've purchased a 42" Roll of poly (295 GSM) canvas.

I'd like some getting started advice on printing to canvas.   I will have high resolution scans of artwork (paintings)

What software is best to use to print to the HP?  To manipulate / edit colors etc.

Is there a way to 'lay down' more ink ....

Do you recommend to UV coat the printed canvas  (if so... before or after it is embellished with a paint brush)

Any and all TIPS.

THANKS!

Any quality imaging program like Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator would be the best choice of software. In terms of media  your best bet would be to check with the manufacturer of the media as to what types of preservatives you might want to use. Check the instructions closely as not all plotters will cut heavier media and you may have to disable the cutter. I add this point as I had a client damage 2 plotters trying to canvas.
