Hi community,

after having had several problems with "check POS" and random failures of printheads (no longer accepted), I finally was able to print again. The printhead for black has a little clog, but I wanted to know if the printer would finally print a large picture - in "normal" quality, the clog was not causing issues, replacement is on it's way - and went ahead. First I printed two smaller ones (about DIN A2 in size). This was promising and I did start a picture print in size DIN A0. After only a few passes, the printer stopped with an error for ALL printheads (failed)!

I did shut down the printer, but did not turn of power.

After several minutes, I did start the printer again and all was back to normal! (But did no more printing, turned it off and left it alone)

Today, I was giving it another shot (less than 24 hours later) and power was turned off, too. I did start the same print job I was sending to it yesterday, again (about DIN A0 in size). No issues, only the hint that one printhead needs to be replaced.

Two day's before I had a problem with cyan. I had a clog, removed the printhead, carefully cleaned it, placed the printhead back in and it worked without any issue and no clog (quality test print sheet). Some time later after the printer was off and switched on again, I get an error and eventually a system error message, that wouldn't go away unless the printhead was removed. It got a new one, and that works just fine - well, until I got the all printheads failed message.

I am wondering if this could be an electronics issue, not a printhead issue. Maybe a capacitor reaching it's end of life and causing voltage problems? I appreciate any idea of how I could solve this issue and have the printer print reliably again 🙂

Ersetzen: replace
Ausfall: failed

Systemfehler: system error
