HP DesignJet Z9+ 44-in PostScript Printer
macOS 10.15 Catalina

I have a new Designjet Z9 and would like to be able to feed handmade papers into it but I need to disable skew check. Is this possible?

According to the user guide there does not appear to be a way to disable skew detection. The guide specfically states that only straight edge cut sheets be used. No hand cut or odd shapes are support. About the only solution may be to mount the odd sized media to a straight sheet to use it as a carrier, but this might cause feeding issues. Or print onto standard sheets and trim after print.

Thanks for this information. It's disappointing, for sure, since I have been able to print on full deckle edge sheets of Arches watercolor paper and a wonderful Khadi paper from India. Having to trim those edges clean makes a difference in the final output. I won't try mounting these on another sheet as they are already quite thick. Anyway,  your reply is helpful and will save me some headaches. Now I miss my Z3200.
