Product: z3100
I'd like to try to resurrect a dead print head for my Z3100. I've seen kits that let you "push" ink through a print head, but I'm reluctant to send non-hp ink through one of my print heads. What material can I use that will be safe? Something like a linseed oil?

First thing to try with a dead printhead is to soak in warm water for ten minutes. This will loosen up anything clogging the nozzles and I have had pretty good success with this. You only want the bottom portion of the head in the liquid. Do not submerse the entire printhead.
