designjet T520 36 inch
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

There is a HP Designjet T520 36 inch Plotter in my office. Lately, after the designjet drivers were updated I can no longer set scale manually. It shows only increments of 25%, 50%, 100% so on. In earlier driver versions I could change scale to 103% or 105% ,or any number for that matter, depending on the aspect ratio of the drawing so that I can "fill" a page fully. But now if the drawing ratio does not match the paper size I'm left with a blank space on one side of the paper and can't adjust it manually. I tried downgrading to previous version but windows update would always update it to the latest version. I don't want to mess with updates as it a work system and not personal.

This is something very simple and yet it's become a hassle.

Are you using an HP driver package or Microsoft? If Window Updates is changing it then it sounds like you are not using the HP driver. I would check that and download the driver package from support.hp.com. You should also turn off Window Printer Management.

Thanks for your reply. I reckon the windows update install the HP drivers, as I've also tried Driver Package directly from HP's Website. The driver version and interfaces are the same. Besides I've also installed the driver from HP website in a fresh install of windows to check. The issue stills exists.
