Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We received a new T730.  Traditionally, I have used the HP -GL/2 driver.  It hasn't been updated since 2018 so I decided to try the PCL driver.  When I first checked it, there was no 32-bit version for W10.  A day or so later, there were newer versions of both the W10 64 and 32-bit.  They were installed on our W2012 R2 print server.  When I mapped to the queue from a W10 b4-bit workstation, the Microsoft enhanced Point and Print driver was shown even though the PCL driver was selected during the queue creation.  Are there problems with this driver?  I can't get the 32-bit version to even install on our test print server.  Thank you, Chris

Some of the new drivers being released for Designjets are the new V4 drivers not V3. V4 drivers require you to install the driver on the workstation and the server directly before connecting the workstation to the server.

That isn't good news.  One of the primary purposes of our print servers is so our desktop group doesn't have to manually install drivers on workstations.  The users map to a print queue, the driver is downloaded(unfortunately requiring admin rights since MS tightened printing security)/installed on the workstation, and then they can print.  It appears we need V3 drivers of which I do not see a PCL V3 driver for a T730.
