Design Jet 500 - Repeated Error message to replace Print heads

HP Design Jet 500

I replaced the belt on the printer and when restarting printer kept getting message to repalce printheads. Replaced printheads and kept getting same message. When checking to make sure all communication cables had been properly reconnected after belt replacement noticed trialing cable had a bad kink so I replaced the trailing cable and print heads. Still lkeep getting same message that print heads need replacing. Sometimes indicates that the black print head is OK and some times indicates black also needs replacing.

I have not updated the firmware on the printer. The printer was working fine until the belt came apart.
