Product: DesignJet 500
Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

I am trying to use a DesignJet 500 with MacOS 10.13 but no software… most importantly QuarkXPress but also including Chrome, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Photoshop CC, Preview… recognises what should be the paper sizes available.
No software seems to understand that DesignJet 500 can handle anything above A3… Duh!

I have:
MacOs 10.13
HP JetDirect J7934G Firmware: V.29.13
QXP 10.5.2.4

Does anyone know why those specific versions should not work together?
Does anyone know any reason at all why my system should not work?
