T210

Hello,

I have a DesignJet T210, 24" plotter.  We have used the last few years without issue.  However, for the last week the front panel is stuck in the initializing mode.  It just shows a white background with HP logo in center, Energy Star logo in top right and status bar across the bottom.  The status bar is moving as if the device is processing, but does not go further than that...even after a day.  The screen does not respond to swipe or touch.  I have unplugged the power cord from the wall and the printer for at least 10 minutes and have even let it sit for 30 or more.  I discharged any possible charge in the machine by holding the power button when unplugged.  Nothing seems to get the front panel past this initialization screen.  Also, Power button does not work to turn the printer on or off.

Without getting past the startup screen, connecting to a PC is not possible for upload firmware or even to confirm the PC driver is outdated.  Further, I cannot access the cartridges as the printer does not start warm up process either, just stuck on front panel load up screen.  How do I get the printer past the load up screen, or what is causing the issue?

Thanks,
