DesignJet T2600
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an DesignJetT2600 connected to an unmanaged local ethernet on a fixed IP address.  Installed the firmware update today for July and now we are unable to print or scan. Unable to "verify" the product. Message pops up with "session expired."  What session?  Although I can connect to the browser interface, I am unable to change any settings without an admin username and password. Killed hours trying to resolve this and have concluded that the automated interface is useless. HP print and scan doctor is useless. I have restarted twice, no joy. I then followed the suggestion of HP's automated chat and reset to factory settings. MISTAKE! Now I can't even start it up without a username and password. It was working fine earlier today, right up to the time I installed the firmware update. Now it is a paperweight and we are losing valuable production and I will have to outsource the printing jobs tomorrow. I am very frustrated. Please have someone call me who knows about this product, not someone who is reading off a checklist or script. Thank you.  _BO
