HP DesignJet Z6200 60-in Photo Printer

I am replacing the internal Hard Drive on a DesignJet Z6200. Few questions:

- Do I need to format and copy the firmware on the drive before I install the drive?

- Do I format Fat32? (I think so)

- Do you recommend installing the original Firmware that is provided on-line (it's never been upgraded) or start with the original firmware that I have on the stick?

- Any other bits of wisdom?

On these products you must purchase a drive with the operating system already installed on it. Unlike HP laser printers, you cannot simply toss in a blank drive.
