Designjet 1050C
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have HP Designjet 1050c. The driver for Vista x64 worked well on Windows 7 x64. But, the driver doesn't work on Windows 10 x64. All replaced computers will come with Windows 10. I tried to Designjet 5500 driver, but images are filled with black ink. I will be printing mainly PDF files.

Thanks in advance.

There is a guy on here "D Hook" who seems to have the 1050C/1055CM Win 10 x64 driver thing down by possibly doing as you have done using the 5500 driver or possibly otherwise. If necessary you might private message him.

So this is the driver executable file you used, below?; I have used it with success with Win 10 x64. A Thought: you might try to delete this driver off your computer, re-download and reinstall. Probably won't do a darn thing but might.:

hpdj1000wx64glen.exe

Also, I have had success using this driver with Adobe Reader version DC. You might try version DC (or another version other than what you are using), if you are not already using it. ....for what it is worth, I came upon an instance in which there was an Adobe Reader version--I forget which version--that just simply would not work with, I think, the above driver. But then we installed Adobe Reader version DC, and it worked.

For what it is worth, Here is version DC:     https://get.adobe.com/reader/

Just got this to add, "D Hook" says:

....I've had the same problem and it comes down to a language issue on the 1050C.  It doesn't like doing images.  I never did find a way around it.  But I didn't spend a lot of time trying to beat it since I only used the printer for line drawings.  So I mostly just used the HPGL/2 language settings.
