My 110plus wont power up at all. There is power to the electronics module which I can see flashing through the back but nothing on the control panel. Some time ago I had this problem and eventually found an instruction how to reset the printer using a sequence on the control panel buttons but cannot see anything now. Can anyone suggest how I can get this going again? I am sure it is a simple problem in the electronics and not mechanical. I really dont want to junk the printer especially when a replacement is going to be silly expensive

Hello RobRob110plus,

Have you tried doing a hard reset? This is done by unplugging the printer while it's on, holding the power button for 60 seconds, and plugging the printer back in.

I have done that hard reset to no avail ( although possibly the electronics module flashes a little faster?)

Well I thought I had it resolved. I left it running for a while but did not print as it was too far from the connection. So I switched off and replugged in in th correct position but no start again. I then tried the hard reset as before but so far this has not worked. Does this indicate a failing component? and if so can I still get parts?

HI again. I was following that document you suggetsed about the carriage cover cut outs ( I'm not sure why - they seemed to be fine) but I did notice that there is a small filter element between the carriage rest position and the ink compartment. I found that the seal on this had gone brittle and was rucked up slightly so the filter unit was not quite seated properly.  I removed the rubber seal to get it back properly in place and this seems to have resolved the problem. I am now printing again. How sensitive is that machine!!!

Fingers crossed no futher hiccups
