Hi,

I was given a Designjet T120, in working order with ink and roll paper, that 'just' hadn't been used in a while.

After doing all the 'known/typical' troubleshooting (popping cartridges/print head out and in again, hard reset, PHA conditions reset, always fails btw., power cycling) I'm stuck and the last option left is to try the PH Recovery levels but that doesn't work either.

On selecting 'Service>PH Recovery Level 1' it prompts to press 'OK' but that just leaves the (PHA Recovery) sub menu and goes back to the 'Service' menu, every time, doesn't matter which level.
If it was missed in the big chunk, 'Reset PHA conditions' also doesn't work, upon entering the PIN (2873) it instantly says 'FAIL! Printer shutting down' and appears frozen until it's suddenly off.

Is there anything to do about this, without immediately buying a new head/cartridges? The cartridges seem 'fine', they are not dried up, at least not completely from what I can tell, and the print head got a water bath and seems to let colour through.

While I did select Win11, I'm not even that far yet to connect it to a computer, so that information is irrelevant.

Thanks in advance for any help!
