I just replaced the printhead in my T120 (after the display said to reseat the printhead and replace it if that didn't work). The intsallation process seemed to be working per the display's prompts and the instruction sheet shipped with the part (711 printhead), including the prompts to install the new cartridges supplied with the printhead. The final message on the display seems reasonable--it says, "Preparing Printer" with a cyclone HP logo in action. The problem is that it's been in this mode now for four hours. Pressing the power button warns that I can't interrupt the installation process. Seems to me that the printer is stuck in a loop, with no error messages in its arsenal to tell me why it's stuck and no way to back out of the loop.

I had the same problem several times.
I have turned printer OFF then ON, then printer starts to initialize new printhead and prints calibration page.

Thank you Valsimot! One clarification is that I had to unplug the printer from the power source, since the on/off button was unresponsive. When I plugged it back in, the printhead setup went through its cycle in a matter of minutes and, as you noted, printed a calibration page.
